Before and After School Program - Before School Care 2025-2026
We accept children from K - 6th grade (or ages 5 - 12). Games and activities will be provided with as much activity taking place outdoors as weather allows. This is a time for kids to socialize, play games, try new sports, and have fun. Kids will enjoy crafts, our Town's unique wooden playground, activities and more. Please pack a water bottle with your child every day that they are planning on attending the program. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 12:00PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE YOUR CHILD NEEDS CARE. REGISTRATION WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FRIDAY - MONDAYUPK STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SCHOOL. Children can interact and learn valuable social skills with others who are the same age while playing with a variety of toys and even a bounce house! We meet weekly in the Town Hall Gym.While this is a free program, we ask that you complete the one time registration online and check in at the Recreation Office each week.Children must remove shoes upon entering the gym play area. Please ensure they have socks, preferably ones with grips on the bottom to avoid slipping.Please note that this is not a drop off program and parent supervision is required at all times. Please be respectful of all of our toys and equipment and clean up whatever your child uses.This program does not occur on most holidays or during school breaks.

Homeschool Art Class - Homeschool Art
Once a month we will host craft classes for home school students. Each class we will pair the craft with a mini art lesson on a specific art technique that will be flexible and fun for all ages to participate in. These classes will provide children with valuable social interaction and allow them to meet new friends while working on their craft projects.
All materials and instruction will be provided.Pre-registration is required. Toddlers' Open Gym - Toddler Open Gym

Each week learn archery basics such as range & bow safety, equipment, form, shot execution, and scoring in this 4 week beginner archery program. This is an introductory archery course and requires no prior archery experience.
We will be using an indoor range with limited space so please register soon to guarantee your child's space. There are only 6 spots for participants per session. If the program is full please sign up for the waiting list as we may open additional sessions of the program.Please bring a water bottle.In order to register for the Archery League or Level 2 Program, your child must have completed or currently be enrolled in the Explore Archery Level 1 Program or Archery Camp through Hamlin Recreation prior to the first day of the League. We will continue to offer the Beginner Program throughout the year.All necessary equipment will be provided. You are not permitted to bring your own bow to this program due to the introductory level of the course. We will be using Recurve Bows and target point arrows.

Archery - Archery Level 1
Each week learn archery basics such as range & bow safety, equipment, form, shot execution, and scoring in this 4 week beginner archery program. This is an introductory archery course and requires no prior archery experience.
We will be using an indoor range with limited space so please register soon to guarantee your child's space. There are only 6 spots for participants per session. If the program is full please sign up for the waiting list as we may open additional sessions of the program.Please bring a water bottle.In order to register for the Archery League or Level 2 Program, your child must have completed or currently be enrolled in the Explore Archery Level 1 Program or Archery Camp through Hamlin Recreation prior to the first day of the League. We will continue to offer the Beginner Program throughout the year.All necessary equipment will be provided. You are not permitted to bring your own bow to this program due to the introductory level of the course. We will be using Recurve Bows and target point arrows.

Archery - Archery Level 1
Each week learn archery basics such as range & bow safety, equipment, form, shot execution, and scoring in this 4 week beginner archery program. This is an introductory archery course and requires no prior archery experience.
We will be using an indoor range with limited space so please register soon to guarantee your child's space. There are only 6 spots for participants per session. If the program is full please sign up for the waiting list as we may open additional sessions of the program.Please bring a water bottle.In order to register for the Archery League or Level 2 Program, your child must have completed or currently be enrolled in the Explore Archery Level 1 Program or Archery Camp through Hamlin Recreation prior to the first day of the League. We will continue to offer the Beginner Program throughout the year.All necessary equipment will be provided. You are not permitted to bring your own bow to this program due to the introductory level of the course. We will be using Recurve Bows and target point arrows.

Before and After School Program - Before School Care 2025-2026
We accept children from K - 6th grade (or ages 5 - 12). Games and activities will be provided with as much activity taking place outdoors as weather allows. This is a time for kids to socialize, play games, try new sports, and have fun. Kids will enjoy crafts, our Town's unique wooden playground, activities and more. Once a month we will host craft classes for home school students. Each class we will pair the craft with a mini art lesson on a specific art technique that will be flexible and fun for all ages to participate in. These classes will provide children with valuable social interaction and allow them to meet new friends while working on their craft projects.
All materials and instruction will be provided.Pre-registration is required. AARP Driver Safety - AARP Driver Safety
Designed for the mature licensed drivers to learn the newest NYS specific laws, update driving skills, knowledge of age-related physical changes and to adjust driving for these changes. Upon completion participants will receive up to 10% multiyear discount on auto insurance. The DMV may assess up to a 4-point reduction. You will develop a greater appreciation of driving challenges.This class is open to anyone with a valid NYS Driver's License. You must have a NYS driver's License.
AARP members should bring their AARP card number.
AARP Members $25 all others $30. CHECKS only payable to AARP.There will be a 30 minute lunch break from 12-12:30 PM. Please bring your lunch with you on the day of the class, as there will not be enough time to leave the building to go get lunch. YOU MUST BRING A CHECK MADE OUT TO AARP ON THE DAY OF THE CLASS. REGISTRATION WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FRIDAY - MONDAYUPK STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SCHOOL. Cooking Classes - Cooking and Baking
Participants in this cooking class will learn essential skills in the kitchen, including safety, good hygiene, and best practices while they prepare various meals, desserts and more. We will also discuss food labels and nutrition while focusing on manners, and setting a table.The class will meet monthly and will end with a Luncheon or Party using the skills learned throughout the class.
