Before and After School Program - Before School Care 2025-2026
We accept children from K - 6th grade (or ages 5 - 12). Games and activities will be provided with as much activity taking place outdoors as weather allows. This is a time for kids to socialize, play games, try new sports, and have fun. Kids will enjoy crafts, our Town's unique wooden playground, activities and more. Please pack a water bottle with your child every day that they are planning on attending the program. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 12:00PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE YOUR CHILD NEEDS CARE. REGISTRATION WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FRIDAY - MONDAYUPK STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SCHOOL. We are accepting vendor applications for our Christmas Market Event!We are looking for craft, retail, food, and other seasonal vendors.There will be spaces available both indoors and outdoors. Indoor spaces will be located in either the Town Hall Gym or the Charlie Maier Lodge. Outdoor spaces will be located along the Holiday Light Trail between the Town Hall and the Lodge Building.There are limited spaces available indoors, register early to guarantee your spot!Indoor spaces are limited to a 6ft table. You are not permitted to bring additional tables
The new event will feature a vendors, food, carriage rides, a Holiday Light Trail, a Tree lighting and more!
Vendors must complete set up no later than 2:30 pm and can not begin to clean up until after 6:00 pm. Also, we will permit no more than 1 representative per consulting company so first come, first served! All vendors will be subject to review so as not to enable too many types of the same product. We meet weekly in the Town Hall Gym.While this is a free program, we ask that you complete the one time registration online and check in at the Recreation Office each week.Children must remove shoes upon entering the gym play area. Please ensure they have socks, preferably ones with grips on the bottom to avoid slipping.Please note that this is not a drop off program and parent supervision is required at all times. Please be respectful of all of our toys and equipment and clean up whatever your child uses.This program does not occur on most holidays or during school breaks.

Join us for an exciting 4-week Gaga Ball program tailored just for ages 8-12! Gaga Ball is a fast-paced, high-energy game played in an octagonal pit. Often called a gentler version of dodgeball, this game emphasizes agility, strategy, and quick reflexes. Players aim to dodge, strike, and eliminate their opponents by hitting them below the knees with a soft ball—all while staying active, building friendships, and improving coordination. Archery - Archery Level 1
Each week learn archery basics such as range & bow safety, equipment, form, shot execution, and scoring in this 4 week beginner archery program. This is an introductory archery course and requires no prior archery experience.
We will be using an indoor range with limited space so please register soon to guarantee your child's space. There are only 6 spots for participants per session. If the program is full please sign up for the waiting list as we may open additional sessions of the program.Please bring a water bottle.In order to register for the Archery League or Level 2 Program, your child must have completed or currently be enrolled in the Explore Archery Level 1 Program or Archery Camp through Hamlin Recreation prior to the first day of the League. We will continue to offer the Beginner Program throughout the year.All necessary equipment will be provided. You are not permitted to bring your own bow to this program due to the introductory level of the course. We will be using Recurve Bows and target point arrows.

Children can interact and learn valuable social skills with others who are the same age while playing with a variety of toys and even a bounce house! We meet weekly in the Town Hall Gym.While this is a free program, we ask that you complete the one time registration online and check in at the Recreation Office each week.Children must remove shoes upon entering the gym play area. Please ensure they have socks, preferably ones with grips on the bottom to avoid slipping.Please note that this is not a drop off program and parent supervision is required at all times. Adult Exercise Class - Beginner Friendly Exercise Class
Begin the New Year with our Adult Exercise Class led by Rec Assistant Kaylee Pilon!This 5-week program will focus on a combination of low impact and intermediate exercises that are customizable to individual fitness levels and goals and allows for participants to work at their own pace!We will provide guided exercises each week that will focus on cardio, balance, increasing range of motion, and building overall fitness level.All exercises are adaptable to the individual. This may include adding additional weight or equipment, including the use of a chair, etc.Hamlin Rec will provide all necessary equipment including weights, resistance bands, stepping blocks, mats, among other options. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.A typical class format will start with a 10-15 minute warm up, followed by 30-40 minutes of guided exercise and ending with a 10-15 cool down.

Adult Exercise Class - Beginner Friendly Exercise Class
Begin the New Year with our Adult Exercise Class led by Rec Assistant Kaylee Pilon!This 5-week program will focus on a combination of low impact and intermediate exercises that are customizable to individual fitness levels and goals and allows for participants to work at their own pace!We will provide guided exercises each week that will focus on cardio, balance, increasing range of motion, and building overall fitness level.All exercises are adaptable to the individual. This may include adding additional weight or equipment, including the use of a chair, etc.Hamlin Rec will provide all necessary equipment including weights, resistance bands, stepping blocks, mats, among other options. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.A typical class format will start with a 10-15 minute warm up, followed by 30-40 minutes of guided exercise and ending with a 10-15 cool down.

Participants in this cooking class will learn essential skills in the kitchen, including safety, good hygiene, and best practices while they prepare various meals, desserts and more. We will also discuss food labels and nutrition while focusing on manners, and setting a table.The class will meet monthly and will end with a Luncheon or Party using the skills learned throughout the class.

Preschool Play Group - PM Preschool Playgroup
Children can interact and learn valuable social skills with others who are the same age while playing with a variety of toys and even a bounce house! We meet weekly in the Town Hall Gym.While this is a free program, we ask that you complete the one time registration online and check in at the Recreation Office each week.Children must remove shoes upon entering the gym play area. Please ensure they have socks, preferably ones with grips on the bottom to avoid slipping.Please note that this is not a drop off program and parent supervision is required at all times. Please be respectful of all of our toys and equipment and clean up whatever your child uses.This program does not occur on most holidays or during school breaks.
