Summer Camp 2024 Register View Cart

Summer Camp
Hamlin Rec Summer Camp will run July 1st - August 30th Monday-Friday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. There will be no Camp on July 4th.
  
Every day each camper will need to bring:

-Lunch (bagged/boxed - no prep required from staff!)
-Water bottle
-Snacks
-Sneakers (or any other type of closed toe shoe)
-Sun Screen
-Swimsuit & Towel (and a bag to take home wet items)
-Water sandals or flip-flops

A Typical Day at Camp

Drop-off to 9:00 am: Free choice, games, and socializing

9:00 - 9:30 am: A.M. Snack time (children must bring their own snacks)

9:30 - 12:00: Programmed activities     
                    
12:00 - 12:30pm: Lunch (children must bring their own lunches)

12:30 - 1:00 pm: Reading or rest time

1:00 - 3:00 pm: Programmed activities

3:00 - 3:30 pm: Afternoon snack (Children must bring their own snacks)

3:30 - Pick-up: Free choice, games, and socializing

Special Events & Field Trips

7/2- Minnehan's, Bus leaves at 10:00 AM (+ $10 if only registered for that day)

7/10- Genessee Country Museum, Bus leaves at 9:00 AM (+ $10 if only registered for that day)

7/23- Roc Ventures,  Bus leaves at 9:00 AM (+ $10 if only registered for that day) 

7/29- Hamlin Tops

7/30- Hamlin Post Office, Walking Trip at 11:00 am

7/31- Fishing Trip, Bus leaves 9:30 am

8/1- Sheriff's Department Visit at 11:00 am

8/6- S&S Fitness, Walking trip at 10:00 am

8/13- SUNY Brockport Planetarium, Bus leaves at 9:45 AM

8/20- Partyka Farm, Bus leaves at 9:30 am

8/27- Wild Wings, Bus leaves at 9:00 am (+ $10 if only registered for that day) 

All special events and trips are included in the Full Summer and Weekly Rate Options. If you are registering your child for specific special event days the additional price is listed above and will be applied to your order at checkout.

We will also have weekly water days. These days will typically take place on Fridays, and are weather permitting. We will spend these water days either at Hamlin Beach Park, or at the Town Park with our giant inflatable slip and slide. Once these dates are confirmed we will update this page and send out an email notification.


- Parents will be sent a Camp packet after registration which will inform them of all instructions, safety measures, and procedures. Weekly emails will also be sent out prior to each camp week to remind parents of any special events or items they will need to bring from home for particular activities.

- Prior to attending camp, parents will be required to submit the most recent copy of their child's vaccination record as well as a completed Authorized Pick-Up/Emergency Info sheet.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents may register for single days or for entire weeks.

If some days within a particular week have already reached maximum capacity of registrations, this system will not show that week as being 'available'. Please go to DAILY registrations to see which days are still available within that week you would have requested.
