The Hamlin Youth Volunteer Force is an organization created to give local youth an opportunity for volunteerism, social activities, and educational events. Membership is available to any youth between the ages of 12 - 18 years of age or in grades 6 - 12.

Meetings are held once a month, usually on the First Friday of the month at 6:00pm (Located at the Charlie Maier Lodge). There are also activities or trips that take place once a month. Plus, there are volunteer opportunities that happen at least once a month as well. An example of this is when The Hamlin Youth Volunteer Force helps with the Recreation Department's seasonal events like Scream Fest, Volunteer Appreciation Night, and Junk Jamboree, assisting in a variety of ways. Many of the opportunities, trips, and meetings will be decided and discussed with the members, while being supervised by staff. It is an exciting, kind way to give back to the community while making friends and enjoying yourself!

Membership forms can be picked up at The Recreation Office at 1658 Lake Rd.
