Rochester is home to many fantastic parks and trails. Join Hamlin Rec Staff for guided hikes in the surrounding areas this Spring. Participants will experience our area’s wildlife and natural beauty.

All hikes will be roughly 1 hour depending on the trail.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation and bringing their own pack and supplies.

Essentials include water, sun screen, bug spray, appropriate footwear and clothing, navigation, first aid, snacks, multi-tool, and anything else you feel you may need. This list is provided for reference only.

This is a free group to join and is open to all ages and all levels of experience, but please pre-register so that we know who will be attending. 

Some parks may have entrance fees at various times throughout the year, please plan accordingly. The Hamlin Public Library has Empire Passes available to rent that will allow for free entry to NYS Parks.
