While we recommend that your have your own DSLR or mirrorless camera to use outside of class, we will have cameras available for participants to use during the class.

Topics covered will include how to use your camera in manual mode, composition, understanding light and shadow, an overview of the various types of photography, basic photo editing, developing creative projects, group critiques, and more!

Please complete the questionnaire with your registration & bring your camera (if you have your own) and any questions to the first class!

A camera and laptop will be available for use during the class.

We will be hosting an end of the year Art Exhibition for participants in our 2024-2025 art programs to showcase their work and share it with friends, family, and community members. The Art Exhibition will take place on Friday, June 13th from 5-7 in the Town Hall Gym.

All participants must submit at least one project to be displayed in the art show. Light refreshments will be served.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of The Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts.
