Learn how to tie knots, put on bobbers, attach sinkers, how to cast, and how to properly handle fish. You will also learn the difference between real and artificial baits, things to look for in the water, how to use/rig different kinds of baits, and how to cast a bait caster (if you have one).
Things each participant needs to bring: their own poles, lures, bobbers, and sinkers.
Participants over the age of 16 are required to hold a fishing license which can be obtained here: https://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6091.html
When: Various Sundays starting on 5/2/21 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM (2-3 class needed)
Where: Scout Park, Brick Schoolhouse Rd. Hamlin, NY
Cost: $25.00 per person (resident) $30.00 (non-resident)
