The Recreation Department offers two facilities for rental. These can be utilized for parties, meetings, baby or bridal showers, and special events.
THE LION CHARLIE MAIER LODGE
The cost for renting this facility is $150.00 per day for residents and $175 for non residents, plus a separate $50.00 security deposit is required upon payment of rental fees and is returned when the facility is declared to be in the same condition as it was at the beginning of the rental period. Any damages incurred or staff time spent cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit. All garbage must be removed by the rental party. Beer or wine is permitted at private functions only after applying for an Alcohol Permit. grilling and open fires are not permitted in the outside spaces.
This facility is available for rental most weekends. It is located close to the playground and has plenty of outside space and parking.
The interior of the Charlie Maier Lodge is spacious and bright. All items dedicated to child care are removed, leaving the renter with a blank canvas and enough tables and chairs to seat up to 75 people.
The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space. It includes a commercial coffee maker, a microwave, and a large cart to make transporting materials from the parking lot easy. The commercial 6-burner range/stove may be used to cook or reheat a large amount of food. The large triple bay sink makes clean-up easy and there is a dedicated refrigerator and freezer space for the renter's exclusive use.
THE TOWN HALL GYMNASIUM
The Town Hall gymnasium is also available for hourly rental on various days. Please call the Recreation Office (585-964-7222) for scheduling. The cost for this facility is $20 per hour for residents & $30 per hour for non residents and includes the use of tables and chairs. Alcohol is permitted only in the Charlie Maier Lodge after having filled out an alcohol permit for beer & wine.
Open fires and grilling in the outside spaces is NOT PERMITTED.
